Spiders

My children are always finding different spiders and putting them into bowls so that we can take pictures of them, I am trying to learn what spider is what down here in Florida so that i know what to watch out for and what is harmless. We are from Michigan and so the spiders that we had up there are so much different then here. I have 2 different spiders living right outside (above) my front door, one is a Banana Spider and the other well I am not sure what kind it is...but it is brown and it had a large hind end. It only comes out at night and hides behind the old wasps' nest during the day. I am not really into bugs that much but I am learning that we have to know about the different spiders and bugs that live around us, because my youngest daughter has been bitten twice by a spider and got staph infection from it so now we are really careful about where they play and what they are touching.
